5. Borderlands: The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned

This is one hard piece of DLC, with zombies that refuse to go down.  That said, this is a spectacular add-on if you’re leveled up.  The design is astounding, making you feel like you’re actually traveling through a murky, undead-infested swamp.  The dialogue is terrific as well, especially Dr. Ned, who rambles on like a good (bad?) mad scientist should.  And the gameplay is pure Borderlands, so you know it’s fun.  We loved every minute on Zombie Island, and can’t wait to visit the Underdome next week.  Bring on Mad Moxxi.
