Blur Multiplayer Beta Kicking Off Next Week

The folks at Activision recently held an event in Liverpool for its upcoming racing combat game Blur (attended by our own Chris Buffa), and it was a rousing success.  However, along with the hands-on we had with it (which will be posted this week), news also leaked about a multiplayer beta that would be kicking off starting next week, according to Activision's main news man Dan Amrich.

Amrich posted on his site that several sites would begin giving away codes starting March 2nd, and they would be unlocked for play starting March 8th (and NOT March 1st, as some sites erroneously posted).  The beta should run pretty close to the game's release on April 13th, although it may be cut off sooner.  Not sure just yet.
