During a Wedbush Morgan financial conference this morning, Electronic Arts revealed that it is planning extensive downloadable content for its recently released first-person shooter, Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Although no specific map packs or other content was mentioned, the rep stated that players can expect to pay anywhere from $5-$15 for the content in game, ranging from weapons to other goods. The company is also looking to get more codes in the hands of first-time buyers, introducing them to the concept of DLC and getting them excited for future add-ons. It's a new project called EA's Project Ten Dollar Games. (Original!)
Hey, just give us more maps. Especially ones that threaten to freeze us to death. We love it.
