Off the pole, onto the water tower, nothing but skull.
Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony launches tomorrow, and we can’t wait to get back to Liberty City and trash a few helicopters with a rocket launcher. (We’ll review the game Friday.) We’re sure a few Xbox Live subscribers are itching to get in on the action as well, and this weekend, they’ll be able to do it for free.
To celebrate the release of the expansion, Rockstar Games will host a free multiplayer weekend for all Xbox Live members. From October 30th through November 1st, you’ll be able to hop into sessions for free, taking on the opposition in a number of multiplayer match-ups. After the 1st, though, you’ll need a Gold subscription to join the party.
In addition, several Rockstar Games staff members will partake in the weekend festivities, along with Aventura singer/composer Henry Santos Jeter, the DJ for Grand Theft Auto’s Santiago Sounds radio station.
This latest addition arrives tomorrow on Xbox Live, and you can also pick it up in the Episodes From Liberty City retail package, due to hit stores at the same time.
