Contrary to popular opinion, RunDLC’s Robert Workman is actually human, and not a robot, as previously reported. That means we have to give the guy a couple of days off so he can recharge his batteries, whatever that means. Therefore, we regret to inform you that there will be no updates on Thanksgiving, and that Black Friday has taken an all-new meaning, since there won’t be updates on that day either.
Instead, you’ll just have to settle for our recently posted review of Borderlands: The Zombie Island of Doctor Ned. We interrupted Bob’s morning walk and demanded the article. He said, “But I’m walking to preserve my excellent health”, and we said, “If you don’t review this DLC, you’ll download our virtual fist to your face”.
OK, so it didn’t go down like that. Bob and I are just 100 percent committed to making sure that RunDLC is as comprehensive a website as possible. Doing this with just two writers is tough business, but our passion for video games and success fuels our collective fire, so to speak. That means making sacrifices to ensure that we put up as many stories as possible.
It pains us to leave the site alone for two business days, but that’s the perfect time for you to check out the latest stories, download some games and write comments. And who knows…perhaps we’ll break our silence and put up a couple of articles. Or perhaps we'll just play Madden NFL Arcade. That sounds good.
With that, we both wish you a Happy Thanksgiving, or just a phenomenal rest of the week, in case you live outside the U.S.
