Major Nelson Details Partial February Content For Xbox Live Marketplace

Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb updated his blog today with a partial list of items that will be available over the next week on the Xbox Live Marketplace.  What deals can you look forward to?  TONS.

First up, next week's Deal of the Week is none other than Battlefield 1943.  Starting Monday, February 15th, you can get the awesome first-person multiplayer shooter for only 800 Microsoft points ($10).

If it's Games on Demand you're after, next week will offer two big hits.  The first, Capcom's Resident Evil 5, will cost you $29.99, while the second, the hard-to-find Beautiful Katamari from Namco, should retail for around $19.99 (that's not confirmed yet, however).

Xbox Live Arcade has plenty of fun to go around, between this week's release of Darwinia + (look for a review next week) and 2K Games' The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom set to arrive on the 17th.  Darwinia goes for 1200 points ($15), while P.B. only costs 800 ($10).

Finally, in the Xbox Live Avatar Marketplace, this Thursday will bring new goods from Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, while next week will offer goods from Resident Evil 5 and THQ's upcoming Metro 2033.

So now you know.  There's good news (Resident Evil 5, finally!), some slightly bad news (where is Perfect Dark?!) and interesting news (how will a Metro 2033 helmet go with a Resident Evil shirt?).  At least Battlefield 1943 is worth the bargain price.  Have at it!
