Just when we thought it was safe to ignore the words “Marvel vs. Capcom 2” and “eBay”, along comes Capcom with a surprise announcement guaranteed to result in high-priced auctions.
Here’s the good news: You can download Marvel vs. Capcom 2 on PSN for $14.99, since Capcom released it yesterday. If you’d rather purchase it from a store, you can also walk into your nearest GameStop and snag a boxed copy; by boxed copy, we mean there’s a code to download the game inside the case.
OK, now for the strange news. Capcom produced only 15,000 retail boxes. Don’t be surprised to see those going for top dollar online in the years to come. If you have 15 bucks to burn, perhaps you should snag one. Who knows, maybe it’ll pay for someone’s college education.
