You might have read the news all across the Internet yesterday about the recent shake-up at Infinity Ward involving the firing of company heads Jason West and Vince Zampella, and what that means for the future of the franchise. Well, a new Call of Duty game is being worked on by Treyarch for this year, and Sledgehammer Studios, headed up by former Visceral Games employees, are working on another for next year.
Where's that leave the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 DLC, though? is it up in arms over this Infinity Ward debacle? Nope. Activision reaffirmed today that the two DLC maps, including the first which would be exclusive to Xbox Live for 30 days, are still on the way for this year. No specific dates or details have been given yet, but we should hear something soon.
