See this chick? She demands results. You hear that, Rare? Results!
Most of us refrain from making bets because we’d lose a ton of cash. That includes the slot machines, poker and pretending to know when video games come out. Case in point, Perfect Dark, Rare’s mega popular N64 game, retooled for Xbox Live. This week, we had a feeling that it would make its long awaited debut. Instead, we’ll receive Chime. Hey, no offense to Chime, but we expected a certain sexy female dual wielding machine guns.
Rare, meanwhile, told its community to “stop moaning” on its Twitter page, but we have trouble taking that company seriously. Ten years ago, “stop moaning” would’ve put us in our place, back when Rare was on top of the video game world. Today, it’s more “when it’s done” nonsense from a company that messes with piñatas. This isn’t 1999. Announce a date and release the game.
Meanwhile, at least we have Chime.
