This week's Wii Shop Channel update is a rather weak one, with no Virtual Console offerings whatsoever. That leaves only three WiiWare games to choose from, and they aren't the greatest.
The standout of the group is GhostSlayer, a creepy first-person action game where you slash ghosts using an on-screen sword. We've included video below, and we'll be giving it a look for review next week. Also available is Mouse House, a strategy-based puzzle game where you guide said mouse through traps and obstacles. Finally, Aksys Games, eager to pummel us with family gaming, has released Family Go-Kart Racing, where you can race against Mommy, Daddy and the kids using lightning and other power-ups as you race for the finish line. Because nothing encourages togetherness like fighting for first place, right?
GhostSlayer and Mouse House cost 600 Nintendo points each, while Family Go-Kart sells for 500.
