Wii Shop Channel Update: Princess Tomato Goes Into Overdrive

The Wii Shop Channel update is about to go live, bringing with it several great games worth your gaming dollar. Leading the pack is the previously announced Blaster Master Overdrive from Sunsoft (for 1,000 Wii points), followed by Konami's ridiculously funny Tomena Sanner, set at 500 Wii points. Also available is Hands-On Mobile's Bloons, an addictive puzzler where you pop, yep, balloons to complete each stage. (Its cost is 500 Wii points). Last but not least in the WiiWare section is the kid-friendly Hubert the Teddy Bear Winter Games, where you compete in such activities as sleigh rides, snow fights (compared to, um, snowball fights, right?), catching bunnies and more. It'll set you back 500 Wii points.

Only one Virtual Console game is available this week, and it's Hudson Soft's Princess Tomato In the Salad Kingdom. We've included a trailer below so you can see just how nutritious it is. It goes for 500 Wii points.
